Art Fight 2026 retrospective (Blaugust2026/3)

i did an art fight this year!
I trust that anyone reading this already knows what Art Fight is.

As I wrote on the event page, this is my second time in the fight and this time I made a grand total of 9 attacks and I count that as a great success! I also got to attack other members of the small web (of the 32-bit café forum), namely humanfinny and melankorin.

The friendly fire point penalty was massively reduced from 75% to 25% this year which is a very welcome change because getting only 25% of the points for an attack even if it's fully coloured and shaded is brutal... yeah I know it's to encourage people to attack the other teams, but still, it's an event about creating art and that should be rewarded by the site... even if the points are pretty much just there for the "fight" aspect and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

The attack with the most points was the 7th one where I attacked 4 characters at once (I had a list of characters to attack and with that I crossed off most of the list)

Apparently some people saw more plagiarism this year than previous years but I didn't see any of that.
